Today I seem to have lost all faith and respect for humanity. I feel genuinely sick to my stomach. I suppose this is what comes from spending all evening watching various Youtube clips about the Taliban, Al Qaeda and the american's reactions to today's news. An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind.

Now I'm going to watch The Office (original Ricky Gervais of course), drink tea out of my brand new 20p bootsale Harry Potter mug and dream of a world of lacy dresses and strawberry fromage frais.

This past weekend has been spent doing such intense revision I feel like I may have suffered an information overdose. I could, however, tell you all about the analysis and identification of compounds in chemistry (that I'm sure you'll be more than enthused to hear about.) The glorious, if not untimely, sunny weather has left me all in the mood to ride my bicycle a la MK in sweeping (impractical) dresses all the way to the seaside. Failing that, I may just lie in my garden and listen to The Beatles. Bliss.

It's less than 5 weeks until I leave school (trust me, I'm counting down the days) and it could not come soon enough. I'm not sure how much longer I can take trying to make intellectual conversation about the world with people who last read a newspaper NEVER without going mad. Honestly, it doesn't take much to just listen to the news once in a while, or to maybe read a book and not think about boys/tans/parties for just a moment, does it? The school I attend is really quite small-minded, racist, homophobic, bitchy and for the most part tory-dominated and honestly I cannot wait to get the fuck out. I genuinely find myself wanting to punch some ignorant fucker in the face at least once a day. Wankers. < /angry>

Sacre Sucre (Roughly translating to holy sugar! haha) also happens to be a little ice cream chain in France, which makes me even more excited for my holidays. Last year I went with my lifelong best friend Emily and had the time of my life can't wait for this year! I thought it was a fitting title for such a sickly sweet array..

Some other sweet things happened today- I found out I've been shortlisted for a national photography competition, very much doubt I'll win but hey I can stick that on my CV can't I?

Today was also my last day of filming for a short film that will be exhibited in a few weeks and with any luck submitted to Channel 4 for one of their '3 minute wonders'

So with the recent release of 'Telephone', the new tune from Lady Gaga featuring Beyonce, the debate rages on; Gaga - wonderful, or just plain weird?
Now i won't say too much on the video, for which you can find reviews on just about every gossip site on the web, other than Gaga has pulled it out of the bag once again. Each second is a crazy off-the-wall adventure (every 572 of them!) From both a fashion and an entertainment view it is fantastic, if you haven't already done so, definately check it out. It really is quite something.

What i really loved about the video was how Gaga-fied Beyonce was looking - so edgy and experiemental, nothing like the normally sweet-as-sugar Knowles we're used to!

Although, of course, the true star was the Lady herself (what else would you expect?!), who else could pull off chains and cigarette sunglasses?!

I'd have to say my favourite model of all time is Agyness Deyn. After everyones slight.. ok.. major obsession over the summer it seemed to have gone all quiet on the Aggy front. CLOTHES SHOW!!

On the 8th i went to the clothes show and it was AWESOME!!

I don't want to bore you too much with the whole "modelling" thing I'd rather talk about the actual event as I'm sure most of you are thinking "who would want that weirdo?!" well i am anyway :P

We got in on Sunday at about 1pm while most people had been there since 8am but that's what happens when you let me in charge of a map.. a scout person came and said "hello what's your name? lets take a picture" well not really but I'm creatively editing this. She was very lovely and told me to come back at 3:30 for a competition thingy and i didn't really understand what was going on because i hadn't even got into the main building yet :P

when we got in i was expecting it to be quite small with lots of calm posh people and expensive shops but it was the complete opposite, there were thousands of girls AND guys? (and lots of them were straight) with really loud music and loads of cheap little shops and everyone was offering freebies and in about 10 minutes i had 3 makeovers!

There was a catwalk with actual designer collections like dolce&gabbana, gailliano and gareth pugh to name but a few, with Hilary Alexander presenting (who i later saw outside going for a cigarette) i only have a few pictures of these because my camera has a reeeaaaallllly slow shutter speed

Then we went to the select place for the competition and there were lots of people there who were taller and prettier and skinnier than me but i got picked and i went on the catwalk which was pretty cool if not slightly scary :P they gave me a goodie bag though so it was all worth it :P

The day ended with the main show which was AMAZING!!

it was basically a big dance in gorgeous clothes :P

So overall it was a really good day! I came back at 1am because once again that's what happens when you put me in charge of a map in the dark.. I had collected 12 bags of shopping in total but there people who had at least 30..

that's all!

i just wanted to say a huge well done to kitty who was scouted by select modelling aganecy on sunday at the clothes show in birmingham and was also chosen as 1 of the 10 best models they had scouted all that day.

Ok so im really sorry you guys for not posting in along time i've just been soooo busy!
Unfortunatley I still have to go to school (sucks i know..) and there was mighty boosh! which was pretty awesome. For those of you who are going to see the show and want to know what it was like i'll just say it envolves fireworks and giant hairdryers...

aaah, sorry for the lack of posting!

golly gosh, have i been busy latly! ive had about 23 hours sleep since last saturday - i just havnt been able to fall asleep!

on friday i went to see the boy in the striped pyjamas with a couple of my friends. its an actually incredible film - we were all blubbering away! i definatly recomend you go see it if you get the chance, it really is moving.

on saturday night me and kitty went to nandos for our friends birthday then back to her house to drink bucks fizz, eat cake and play pictonairy, fun times had by all!

i had a picture of my outfit, but my goddamn camera keeps deleting photos when i try and put them on the computer! aaaah ill try and find them again later, or ill just recreate the outfit and take another photo :P

Hey guys I’m back! It has been a long lonnngg time but I came back from my holiday and my laptop has a worm? Does anyone actually know what that means? Anyway it kinda freaks me out when I go on it because it there’s some strange radio station in the background telling me about football?! (That or I’m going crazy :P) anyway I’m on a different computer and can now and can share my pics!

We spent a few days in Switzerland (my cousins' two adorable cats!)

Then we went to Austria with them and it was AMAZING!!!

And then we went to France!

So overall it was a darn good holiday!

Now on the fashion side of things....

As chlozz rightly pointed out the kate moss for topshop collection is divine, but i wouldn't say the same for the celia birtwell collection. I suppose some of it is quite sweet in patchwork sort of way but not my cup of tea I'm afraid.

H&M, best shop of all time, everything is lovely! lots of lovely colours, brights & blacks mixes that remind me of comic strips! and of course i think every single fashion blogger has gone slightly crazy over the rei kawakubo, comme de garcons collection!

Bonjour :)
The new kate moss for topshop range came onto the website today, and i darn like it! Its got quite a dark feel, and is mostly pinks, browns, blues and blacks. I have to say its alot more like kates personel styles then the past collections. Lots of beads, fur, feathers, fringing and leather - check it out on the website! i would post some of the clothes here, but this isnt my computer im using and ive gotta get off soon...

Also, did anyone catch the vmas last?! Russell brand was hilarious, although i realised most of america probably dont agree! His humour is very very british, sarcastic and light hearted! you really cant take things he says seriously or get offended by it, which is a shame cos on most forums or whatever i have read, americans seemed to really dislike him! It sucks though, cos i love him! Britney looked beautiful, AAAH i love her!

Anyway, i apolagize for having no outfit poast or whatever trevor. Yesterday my school did a 9 mile sponsered walk. NINE MILES! myfeet hurt just thinking abiut it.... :/

After lots of mmm-ing and aaaah-ing over this dress, i have decided im not too keen. i like the colour and the bows are cute, but the netting i think just looks tacky and like it should be on a halloween costume. And i think it would of looked nicer with maybe some peep toe shoes? Opinions?

Anyways, school is going alright i think... had my 1st latin lesson today, it went ok :) Kitty's back from holiday, and should hopefully be posting soon. :)

Having been on the netball team since year 5, both at my primary and secondary schools, im a little obsessed with making sure i stay on, and this year the team go to australia for a week! (!!!!). But what with the credit crunch etc, my parents wont be able to afford to let me go, so my grandma says she'll pauy for some and i need to pay for some, so im finally gonna have to get some sort of job and stop spending money! aaah life sucks :P

On the plus side, i lost 7 pounds! Ciao! xxxx

ive been wearing this shirt waaaaaay too much recently... i blocked out my face cos i look like a wierdo :P i found these red wedges i9n ther back of my cupboard, i bought them lastyear and i havnt really worn them much so i thought i would.... i love finding old shoes!

probs not much postage foer the rest of this week, i'm actually gonna do some work at school this year!

this is what i wore yesterday to do a spot of window shopping, the leather jacket is my dads from the 80s. its kinda of a wierd shape and is really battered but i like it :)

urgh, school starts again soon. urgh.

ps. am i the only one who puts kisses on the end of comments on blogs?? i have a feeling i use facebook way too much...

" Sky1 has confirmed that Project Catwalk will not be returning for a fourth season.

Channel controller Richard Woolfe hinted at the Edinburgh International TV Festival that the show had reached a conclusion and would be replaced by other female-skewing shows in the lineup.

"What we really need are some female-friendly formatted shows," he said. "8pm is a real opportunity. We're doing really well at 9pm and 10pm but I'd really like to see some long-running returnable series. We've done three seasons of Catwalk; I want some other shows for that slot."

A spokesperson for the channel has subsequently confirmed that the series will not return because it "had come to a natural end". "

hey!

so my weekend was good, but not without some FASHION TRAGEDY!

ok well im totally overacting :P but on saturday our tent leaked and me and my mums suitcases both got soaked throuhg meaning we had absolutly no clothes! i ended up wearing the same jeans all weekend, my dads coat and a my sisters t-shirts, so no photos of outfits unfortuantly.

urgh... today i had one of them hormonal days where all i do is sit in bed, eat chocolate, watch friends and think alot. on these days, i think ive met the most perfect guy in the world, but it seems nothing will happen because of silly little things. anyway, will keep you posted :)

anyway, this is what i wore a few days ago when it was very cold, the boots are my mums that i keep stealing cos i like them :) my face was wierd in this picture :P

Festivalling

Hiya,

So tomorow im off for the weekend to greenbelt festivalalalala. it took me a whole 2 days to try and pack, just cos i kept changing my mind on what to wear!

in the end i decided
- my "travelling and 1st day" outfit would be black skinnies, mans plaid shirt and red pumps, rather like agyness deyn wore to t4 on the beach.

- 2nd day outfit consists of black high-waisted shorts, black biker boots and white vest

- 3rd day is gonna be black topshop dress, blue oversized cardy and black pumps

- travelling and final day outfit is blakc skinnies, white oversized tshirt and black pumps.

im so organized! although undoubtedly this will all be screwed up by day 2 by the weather and such :P so ive taken lots of spare clothes and my big ol' jumper! and i kinda hope it rains so i can wear my wellies and knee high sock combo :)

look at duffy shaking her tooshy! and im completly adore lovefoxx! i saw her and css live at latitude last year and they were immense, she really is just so cool!

last month i bought this top from topshop for £15. its quite a cool shape, its long at the back and shorter at the front and it looks like someone just cut it at the bottom instad of doing it nice and neastly.. god im so great at selling this tshirt :P
bu you have to see it in real life to understand the coolness of it. my dad claims to have had one just like it in the 80s... :P
anyway, i have worn it with pretty much everything and im already thinkin i may have worn it out! and now in topshop they have loads of different colours and differnt slogans. i realy like the colour of the one i have now so i migh get the "love my bones" one. trouble with the pretty vacant one is that, unless people know the sex pistols song they just look at me like im a bit odd.
the text in the backgroun is all about computer science or sumit' which is a little on the random side...
anyway, i plan to buy another one, probably the same one. also they do plain ones, i might buy one of them write someone of my own on it...
any ideas to what i should write?

Hiya :)

I expect most british people who ever watch channel 4 in the evenings will have heard of gok wan. If you havnt he's a very camp stylist who does a couple of fashiony type shows; "how to look good naked" and "goks fashion fix".

I never really made an effort to watch how to look good naked, it was alot like 10 years younger and trinny and susannah, but goks fashion fix has been running for a few weeks now and i absolutely love it!

" Gok's Fashion Fix looks at everything from designer style to high street chic, and gets up close and personal with celebs and the public, culminating in the crowning of the UK's most stylish person. " or so the website says.

Each week is a different theme, ending a fashion faceoff. Gok has to create 4 looks with this theme using only high street shops, and 4 looks using all designer brands. Occasionally the designer side is better but i think the crowd routes for him 'cos they love 'im ( who doesn't :P)

Another thing i love about the show is Gok's "no mercy" policy with all the clothes. He's just like; right that is hideous, off it goes! *RIIIIPPP* and the way he tries to change things by making the model wear them upsidedown haha..

hello! sorry for the lack of posting, ive been doing a drama thingy all week and kitty is just plain lazy :P

anyway, yesterday we went for a big ol' shopping trip to ipswich where there is not only a primark but also a H&M which colchester lacks compltely, which sucks! but this is what i got...

This tshirt from txmaxx, and the skirt from h&m. this is what i wore today, also :)

these braclets for £1 in primark (!) which i really needed some of for when i go back to school (oh the joys of not wearing proper school uniform :P) and a pair of new black skinnies as my old ones wernt skinny enough anymore!!

i also tried on a pair of black high waisted shorts that were only £3 but unfortuantly they were a bit too big, but instead i bought them for my sister for her birthday in a few weeks time instead :)

a few days ago this blazer came in the post that i bought from ebay... sorry this isnt the best photo of it. Anyway, i was really excited about getting it as it was a right bargain, but when i tried it on, not only was it milesto big but also really very 80s! it had huge shoulders pads and was very sort of "power dressing"... so that was a bit of a disappointement.

hi my name kiko im a 56 year old swedish dwarf, in my spare time i enjoy chess, trainspotting and skinny dipping...

only kidding! actually im chloe, an english teenager. im probably your very typical middle class indie kid, and i thought id start a fashion blog because i read so many and i take way to many photos :) i dont suppose anyone will read this, but you never know! im into music, im never without my ipod and i go to an awful lot of gigs. i spend most of my money on clothes and magazines - somthing my mum is never too pleased about! i like parties and i have huge messy hair and a very messy bedroom. i think fashion should be used as a way of expressing yourself and i love to dress up. im a bit of a harry potter and a mighty boosh geek, when im older id like to be an actress or a journalist - somthing creative! i tend to not do as im told, but im very laid back and not too bothered about what people think of me. :)
